| While generally the durability and flexibility of quality custom mobility and seating equipment will have an expected useful life of several years, rarely will such equipment fit appropriately without attention to adjustment for such an extended period. Even appropriately specified equipment subject only to normal use, often requires periodically adjustment to address changes in the clients size or physical conditions. If needed adjustments are not implemented, equipment can quickly be rendered ineffective, and in some instances possibly even result in the use of such unadjusted equipment being inappropriate. |

It is important to understand that SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS are not repairs. Even if your equipment isn’t broken, it may need adjustment to assure appropriate fit and application over time. System Adjustments address
items such as seat depth, back height, headrest positioning, trunk and hip guide placement, and footrest positioning. |

In order to assure appropriate fit of new equipment, SEATING PROFILES provides standard system adjustments on new equipment provided by SEATING PROFILES at no charge for 90 days following the purchase of such equipment. |

Generally a standard system adjustment will require a short office appointment with a seating specialist and a technician. If your seating system is a molded system or you have experienced substantial changes a more complex adjustment may be required. The seating specialist will evaluate the current fit and configuration of your equipment and will discuss with you any problems you may be experiencing with the equipment. Any recommended system adjustments will be discussed with you and upon your approval will be completed by a technician. |

SEATING PROFILES normally conducts system adjustments in our facility. SEATING PROFILES may, in special cases and when the nature of the adjustment is feasible, conduct system adjustments at hospitals, schools, or places of therapy |
SEATING PROFILES Standard System Adjustment fee is $75.00
The fee for Molded System Adjustments and Complex Planar System Adjustments is $150.00. In some cases when a system adjustment requires full reconfiguration of the system additional charges of technician time may be applicable. In the event a client wishes to have system adjustments performed at home or at some other location outside of our normal service facilities, special arrangements may be made, but are subject to an additional out of office system adjustment charge of $100.00. |
