SEATING PROFILES believes that the
primary purpose of seating and mobility technology is to enhance
function, posture, and comfort for the physically challenged. The
successful solution to any given patient’s seating and mobility needs
begins with a comprehensive evaluation.
SEATING PROFILES has designed and utilizes an integrated evaluation
process which ensures the most thorough and precise fit possible, custom
tailored to the individual. At SEATING PROFILES you will be
evaluated by one of our trained Seating Specialist who will address such
key factors as: skeletal alignment and goals, respiratory capacity and
goals, skin integrity and pressure relief requirements, environment of
application, custodial care availability, and overall client function
capabilities. Each of these factors may present unique aspects to
the case and we believe must each be considered in the development of a
well suited and well fitted system.
At SEATING PROFILES the same professional who conducts the evaluation
will coordinate the development of your system specifications and will
also be responsible for supervising the final fitting of your equipment.
In order to conduct the most thorough evaluation possible and to take
advantage of various simulation equipment SEATING PROFILES normally
conducts client evaluations in our facility. SEATING PROFILES may,
in special cases and when the nature of the evaluation is feasible,
conduct evaluations at hospitals, school, or places of therapy.
SEATING PROFILES standard evaluation fee is $100.00. In the
event a client whishes to be evaluated at home or at some other location
outside our normal evaluation sites, special arrangements may be made,
but are subject to an additional out of office evaluation charge of
$150.00.
